Bridge City Steel in NW Portland looking for an experienced welder / Fabricator to join our great team.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• MIG welding mild steel with a high degree of quality and minimal

supervision.

• This position is in a manufacturing environment and incumbent may perform manufacturing duties other than

welding. Days could be spent tapping parts, beveling, Packaging etc.

• Read work orders / drawings to determine lengths, widths and heights.

Qualifications and Skills :

• At least 1 year of verifiable experience Mig welding wanted.

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

• Operate Forklift

• Cut parts to size with saw or Ironworker
