Bridge City Steel in Portland, OR was established in 2006 with the goal of producing quality cut parts for manufacturers, machine shops, and steel fabricators in the Pacific NW.
Fast forward to today, we have invested in a new 60,000 square foot facility, added laser cutting, bending and waterjet cutting. We now have one of the largest Fiber lasers on the West Coast, along with a 24’ press brake. We run 24 hours per day / 5 days per week.
Bridge City Steel takes pride in being able to take on almost any size plate cutting and forming project. With laser, waterjet, forming, plasma / flame drill, Tap, and bend all in house, there is almost no plate project we can’t take on. Customers now don’t have to go to multiple shops for their processing needs. Bridge City Steel is your one stop shop for all your processing needs.
Our Facility at Bridge City Steel
Bridge City Steel is located in the NW industrial area of Portland, OR. We occupy a 60,000 square foot facility on 3 acres. Our facility has ( 2 ) 10 ton overhead cranes in our processing bays.
We are conveniently located about 10 minutes from I-5.
Laser Cutting
One of the largest fiber laser on the
West Coast. We cut up to 10′ x 20′
parts. In addition to our new fiber,
we have 3 Amada C02 lasers that can
cut up to 1-1/4″ mild steel.
Plasma / Flame Cutting
We have just added a new Kinetic
K5000 plate processing machine.
This machine has a 48 hp drill spindle
with both plasma and flame heads.
Our new table measures 14′ x 60′.
Waterjet Cutting
New Omax Optimax 80X Waterjet
with 6’-8” x 14’ cutting envelope.
Features a Tiltajet head to eleiminate
part taper. Z- axis travel to 12”
Tolerances +/- .010”
Bending
5 CNC press brakes in house. Our
largest press brake is 24’ long with
750 tons of bending capacity. We
have 2 new 6 Axis CNC press brakes
for all your precision bending needs.
